Heard 1.2.24

Answer anything from the notch

Multi-part prompts now answer cleanly in place. When an agent asks you several things at once, tap your picks in the notch (or say them) and Heard sends them all back in one go — no more hunting for the terminal to finish a stacked question.

Mute the cues, keep the words

A new Cue sounds toggle in Settings → Event Sounds silences the finish, question, and error chimes while your spoken summaries keep playing. For when you want Heard’s voice but not its dings.

Jump back to the exact pane

Click a session and Heard now surfaces the precise tmux pane it is running in, not just the terminal window. And a new Glossy notch style adds a thicker, higher-contrast Liquid Glass surface — pick it (or the clearer Glass) in Settings → Notch.

Prompts that fit your plan

Free and Pro no longer see Power-only errors or upsells they can’t act on. The talk key still silences narration for everyone, without the nag.

Connections you control

Disconnect All is now a true disconnect: Heard steps back from every agent config and goes dormant until you press Reconnect, which restores exactly what you had connected.

Fixes

Duplicate menu-bar instances clean themselves up (no more two icons or a stuck microphone), a crashing engine now backs off instead of hot-looping, and agent-config writes are atomic so a busy machine can’t corrupt them. The turn view no longer shows internal system messages, plan downgrades re-lock voice correctly, and permission prompts read a clear reason. Two full pre-release audit passes across the notch, voice, and session board.
