The terminal is still there as a fallback, and a question is no longer read aloud twice. ### Snappier, steadier voice dictation Dictation cleanup moved to a faster model and path, so text lands quicker after you speak — and it self-heals if the upstream model changes. ### Ambient listening knows when you're actually on a call Ambient now pauses only during a **real call** — when the mic is genuinely in use, including calls in a browser tab — instead of whenever a meeting app just happens to be open. It resumes on its own after you hang up. ## Heard 1.2.25 ### Questions always show in your terminal Agent questions now always render Claude Code's interactive menu right in your terminal — the reliable place to answer — for both single questions and multi-part prompts. A question can no longer end up stuck in the notch. The notch stays tappable for a single-choice question; multi-part and multi-select appear as a read-only heads-up that points you to the terminal. > Heard is the voice layer for coding agents on macOS.
